Sahel partnered with CANON Education to conduct a very impactful STEM career program which introduced young female secondary school girls to career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The project was implemented in October 2022, with senior secondary school students of Badore model College in Ajah, Lagos state. The event was inclusive of practical coding sessions, inspiring career talks by female STEM professionals, stimulating science quizzes, a tree planting session. To ensure sustainability, the team established a STEM club in the school to be anchored by CANON Education.
