The Sahel Scholars’ Program (SASP) is an initiative under our Corporate shared Values that educates undergraduate students on the opportunities in the agriculture and nutrition sectors through mentorship, hands-on experience, and scholarships. In partnership with universities, SASP raises awareness about the importance and value of agribusiness education to prepare students for work and leadership in the sector. The program has four components:
SELECTION PROCESS
Deans of the Faculties of Agriculture in selected universities provide a list of top 50 students by CGPA in their penultimate academic session.
Nominated students undergo multiple levels of assessment:
- Video submission on a given topic.
- Completion of a psychometric assessment online.
- Participation in a panel interview session with Sahel experts.
Selected Scholars are invited to participate in the internship program at Sahel.
