The Women’s Livelihood Support Project empowers women in Plateau State to overcome climate, conflict, and socio-economic challenges by strengthening livelihoods, leadership, and participation in peacebuilding.
By promoting resource sharing between women pastoralists and crop farmers, such as converting crop residues into livestock feed and using manure for soil fertility, the project improves productivity, enhances food security, and reduces environmental waste. It also fosters knowledge exchange and collaboration, building trust, strengthening social cohesion, and supporting more resilient communities.
