Resilient and Inclusive Agri-food Systems Empowering Women and Youth in Nigeria (RISE)

The RISE Program (Resilient and Inclusive Agri-food Systems Empowering Women and Youth in Nigeria) is a high-impact initiative creating 8,000 jobs across Bauchi, Kaduna, and Kano States. The project will benefit an estimated 50,000 people, including 12,500 smallholder farmers and their households, and improve the performance of 450 women- and youth-led MSMEs and 250 farmer cooperatives.

Focusing on the rice, maize, groundnut, and soybean value chains, the program strengthens productivity, enhances market access, and provides support through matching grants, innovation funds, and smart incentives, fostering resilient livelihoods and sustainable growth.
