Stephen Adeyemo

Stephen Adeyemo is an Analyst at Sahel Consulting Agriculture and Nutrition Limited, where he conducts market and industry research, stakeholder engagement, and provides technical support in planning and program implementation. Passionate about developing formal seed systems, where he supports the implementation of the BASICS-II and PROSSIVA projects and had previously contributed to the Collaborative Seed Programme, partnering with stakeholders to promote the adoption of high-quality.

Before joining Sahel, Stephen gained hands-on experience in agricultural logistics, supply chain management, and project execution with the Dangote Projects Rice Unit, where he contributed to efforts aimed at building a sustainable rice value chain in Nigeria.

Stephen holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) and a Mini-MBA in Business Administration and Management from the Tekedia Institute. He is also an alumnus of LEAP Africa and an active member of the African Young Entrepreneurs (AYE), and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE).
Stephen’s work reflects his vision of a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable agricultural sector across Africa. His professional interests encompass agribusiness development, seed systems, the inclusion of youth and women in agriculture, and digital innovation in the agricultural sector.
