Nyabiyadaticha Philemon Kadala is a Gender Justice and Social Inclusion Leader driving institutional and policy change, with over ten years of experience advancing human rights, gender equality, and women’s empowerment across humanitarian and development contexts in Nigeria. Her work is grounded in the conviction that equity is not an add-on, but the foundation of sustainable systems. She brings both passion and precision to her practice, combining feminist values with rigorous programme and policy expertise.

She has worked extensively across emergency and development settings with organisations including Save the Children, Plan International, INTERSOS, and International Medical Corps, leading initiatives on gender equality, disability inclusion, GBV prevention and response, safeguarding, and child protection. From frontline engagement with women, girls, men, and boys in conflict-affected communities to senior technical leadership and policy influence, Nyabiyadaticha is known for challenging harmful power structures while building practical, people-centred, and rights-based solutions that institutions can sustain.

Currently, Nyabiyadaticha serves as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Expert at Sahel Consulting, where she leads gender-transformative strategies across large-scale programmes and organisational systems. She works closely with public and private sector actors, donors, and communities to embed gender justice, women’s economic empowerment, and inclusive policy reform into decision-making and implementation processes. She is pursuing a PhD in Gender Studies and holds master’s degrees in Gender and Women’s Development Studies, International Affairs and Development, and international relations and Diplomacy, grounding her advocacy in both lived experience and strong analytical practice.
