Temitope Adegoroye

Temitope is the Managing Partner at Sahel Consulting where he is responsible for client engagement, project management and implementation. He is passionate about the agribusiness sector and has worked extensively across a broad range of value chains, with specific expertise on roots and tubers. He is proficient in market analysis, business strategy development, business sustainability, and project management.
Temitope has led several studies on agricultural policies and market entry strategies and implemented consulting projects in a range of priority areas including innovations in seed systems, mechanization, on-farm productivity enhancement and improved market access for agribusiness stakeholders.
Temitope holds an MBA from Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria. He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Agronomy from the University of Ibadan and received his undergraduate degree in Plant Science from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife.
Chinedu Agbara, CFA

Chinedu is a finance and business management expert with over 10 years’ experience in investment banking, business advisory, project financing, and relationship management. He currently serves as a manager at Sahel Consulting where he leads the development and implementation of agriculture projects focused on seed systems, catalyzing inclusive growth, and professionalizing farmer associations and innovative agri-businesses start-ups.
Before joining Sahel, Chinedu worked with agri-businesses and other corporate entities in raising finance from public and private capital markets. He has worked as a relationship manager for a top financial institution where he initiated and participated in successful negotiations with management, union leaders, and diverse stakeholders of private and public organizations. Chinedu has consulted for a family-owned business in Madrid and led sales campaigns that required engaging with multi-stakeholders with different cultural, language, and ethnic backgrounds.
Chinedu holds a Post Graduate degree in Business Management, a Masters’ degree in Advanced Finance from IE Business School, Madrid, and is a Charterholder with Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute in Virginia, USA.
Aisha Hadejia

Aisha Hadejia joined Sahel in 2021, bringing a wealth of expertise and passion to our team, focusing on transformative initiatives to strengthen public and private sector institutions in the Nigerian agriculture sector. She is a social development expert with experience working with multi-national teams on conceptualizing and implementing projects in social development, public health, and gender. Aisha’s social development journey began as a Health Communication Coordinator at the Society for Family Health focused on enhancing access to health care and nutrition services for women and children. In 2017, she joined Girl Effect Nigeria where she worked with multiple development organizations to advocate for women’s economic empowerment and improve girl’s access to technology, information, and healthcare.
At Sahel, She brings a unique perspective and understanding of the intricacies of public health and nutrition to address complex challenges related to food security, agricultural sustainability and nutritional well-being. Aisha leads strategic consulting and development initiatives to enhance the capacity of public sector actors to formulate and implement innovative and inclusive policies that will increase the productivity and income of food producers, create job opportunities, and improve the livelihoods for millions of smallholder farmers.
Aisha holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Leeds, UK, a Master’s degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and an MBA from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Grace Omini

Grace is a project management professional with hands-on experience in stakeholder management and program implementation.
Throughout her career, she has worked on multiple EU and UN-funded projects centered on water & sanitation, institutional reforms, agro-based enterprise promotion, sustainable livelihood development, gender equity, and community empowerment.
Before joining Sahel, she worked at Lafarge Africa as Community Relations Manager, where she managed corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects and community development strategies focused on empowering people and communities within the operating environment.
She currently supports the FMARD institutional capacity-building project and other agricultural development projects at Sahel. Her work focuses on market research on different agricultural value chains, identification of agribusiness development opportunities, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of monitoring systems.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Agriculture and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, and a Masters in Agribusiness Management from the Rome Business School. She is also an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
Emmanuel Adekunle

Emmanuel O. Adekunle is an Analyst on the strategy team at Sahel Consulting Agriculture and Nutrition, focusing on agricultural and nutritional advancements across Africa. With an Economics degree from the University of Ilorin and experience in financial services, Emmanuel applies his analytical skills to key projects. His expertise spans relationship management, financial analysis, policy innovation, and Business strategy with a particular focus on developing strategies that align with policy landscapes across key sectors.
At Sahel, Emmanuel conducts comprehensive research, manages stakeholder engagements, and develops high-quality reports for various strategic initiatives. He contributes to business development efforts, supports proposal drafting, and implements short-term projects.
Combining his passion for entrepreneurship with his skills in client relationship management and problem-solving, Emmanuel is dedicated to fostering sustainable growth in agriculture and nutrition across Africa.
Odunayo Omogoroye

Odunayo Omogoroye is an accomplished Data Analyst with over five (5) years of professional experience. At Sahel Consulting, he conducts comprehensive research on markets, industries, and companies, identifying key trends and opportunities that inform project implementation and proposal development. Odunayo is also responsible for preparing high-quality presentations and reports, which summarize research findings and deliver actionable recommendations to senior management and clients. His work influences data-driven decisions for numerous consulting projects spanning various agricultural value chains.
With deep expertise in data analysis, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI, Odunayo has contributed to the financial sector, improving loan disbursement and customer satisfaction rates at Baobab Microfinance Bank and First City Monument Bank (FCMB). He is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to execute consulting initiatives that meet organizational goals. His ability to translate complex data into clear insights ensures that his recommendations are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
Academically, Odunayo holds a First-Class Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He has also pursued extensive professional development, earning certifications in Data Analytics from KPMG and Python for Data Science from EDX. As a member of Data Science Nigeria, Odunayo is committed to continuous learning and remains passionate about leveraging data to solve complex problems.
James Amilo

James Amailo is an Analyst at Sahel with over 5 years of experience in Management Consulting and Finance. At Sahel, he supports programs that promote sustainable agriculture in Africa by conducting in-depth market research on key value chains, developing strategies, organizing convenings, and providing training programs.
Before Sahel, he worked as an operations analyst with ARM Investment Managers and Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited where he worked on various system automation projects and other risk reduction and business improvement strategies.
He is a graduate of Economics from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) and received a certificate in Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (CFI).
Hauwa Ali

Hauwa Ali, currently a Consultant at Sahel Consulting, earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from De Montfort University, UK, and completed her master’s degree in Business Analytics and Finance at the University of Southampton, UK. Before her role at Sahel, she served as an Analyst at FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited, contributing to internal fee collection optimization and trade data reconciliation. Her responsibilities included data gathering, cleaning, and analysis utilizing proprietary data analytics systems.
Within Sahel, Hauwa is involved in diverse program functions, encompassing company, industry, and market research, as well as qualitative and quantitative data analysis. She actively engages in proposal and report writing for various clients. Currently, her focus lies on various short-term projects alongside the Early Warning Systems Project (EWS) aimed at enhancing early warning systems in Nigeria, a critical endeavour amidst prevailing climate uncertainties.
